The Cliff of Silence

The light grew softer as Nefertiti stepped forward and moved towards it.The gallery, the paintings, the endless reflections of her life,all faded without resistance.The chaos inside her has slowly found its center.

She was standing on a cliff,its edges dissolving into the horizon.A gentle, cool breeze touched her face, like a quiet nudge.
Her surroundings were so still that even her breath could be heard.Her mind was calm.

Nefertiti stood quietly, her arms slowly stretching outward, her gaze lifted towards the sky, just witnessing.

The sky did not feel distant. As if it had always been within her.Her body felt lighter.

New thoughts did not arise.Her past did not return.Even the ache she once carried,was no longer there.There was nothing left to understand.

Tears rolled down her cheeks,but this time, not in pain but in surrender,peace and joy.
And then,a faint light touched her face.
It expanded,quietly and endlessly until the sky itself dissolved into it.The infinite white light did not hurt her eyes. It felt warm,like a long-awaited home.All the colors around began to merge into it,dissolving into one.Nefertiti stood still.
She did not move towards it.
She realized,she had never been separate from it.A quiet awareness expanded,beyond her identity.She felt ecstatic.

Free from all memories of the past,from all attachments,from all desires.

The wind no longer moved around her,it moved through her.For a moment,
the infinite waited,and so did she.
There was no past,no journey,no destination.Only an endless presence.

And just as everything dissolved into that infinite stillness,a voice emerged.
Soft,familiar,almost like a memory carried across time.“Madam… I finally found you.”
For a flicker of a second, something stirred.

A faint smile of recognition appeared on her face.But this time,there was no need to turn and respond.Because there was no distance left to cross.

The voice became part of the same vastness.

And then,there was no voice,no form.

Only awareness.
